Born in Newark, NJ, my artistic journey has been shaped by transformative experiences through glassblowing as well as other mediums. I started to develop my craft at GlassRoots, where I participated in programs that deepened my technical skills in business & entrepreneurship and the scientific glassblowing Varis program, volunteered as a teaching assistant, and attended Penland School of Crafts in the iron studio, further expanding my creative horizons. Additionally, I participated in the Crafting the Future internship, studying with Granite Calimpong at Pilchuck, which expanded my perception. My art explores the interplay of light, inviting viewers to reflect on their own interpretations and experiences. Each piece serves as a dialogue between the glass and its observer, fostering connection and discovery.
